MUSE is a collection of porcelain ladies with a unique design that is inspired by the mythological figure of the Muses and reworks it with innovative languages and symbolic codes to create a new feminine, ideal and magical archetype. The

 

Muses, since archaic Greece, represent the supreme ideal of the Art understood as “manifestation of the divine”. Usually identified in nine distinct figures, each of them is the spokesperson of a very specific art in order to include all the fields of human knowledge: from poetry to dance, from art to science.

The MUSE collection reworks these mythological figures with a stylistic language that takes its cue from the arts and contemporary design and combines it with contemporary elements, to create a new feminine ideal. Urania, Tersicore and Talia are the first three “ideal” ladies, each charged with symbolism and visual references to decode, decorative chimeras but with the aspiration to become contemporary “icons”.

The collection is entirely hand-carved by a master sculpture, the pieces individually decorated with a mix of painting and graphic techniques, numbered and limited edition products.
