TERSICORE, “la protettrice della danza”,
Usually depicted with clothes similar to those of the bards and crowned with laurel leaves, she is always intent on drawing chords with her tapered fingers on her instrument.
Her name comes from the greek (τέρπω) “to give pleasure, joy e (χoρός) dance.
TERSICORE in ICONOCLASTIC is a creature that enchants, a modern priestess who uses the virtues of music and dance to transcend the envelope of matter and reach the depths of the unconscious and bring out the deepest emotions. In a world increasingly pervaded by appearances, Tersicore is a sort of nèmesis who acts through charm and symbolism. She is the black swan, the dark face of the moon, the yin, the other side of the coin that needs to emerge to allow the eternal becoming of things to manifest itself in all its forms.
